The Evening Stranded is the newspaper of choice for beleaguered First Capital Connect passengers.
Published every Friday, delays and cancellations notwithstanding, it is an antidote to the daily frustrations of commuting on the most cynically managed train service in the country.
Its primary aim is to raise awareness of the contemptible service, value, comfort and safety afforded to passengers on the Thameslink and Great Northern routes by parent company FirstGroup.
You can lend your support to our cause in the following ways:
- Follow The Evening Stranded on Twitter
- Sign the petition on the Number 10 website
- Ask your local MP to sign the Early Day Motion (EDM 623)
With your help we can rid ourselves of this scandalous company and get the modern, reliable train service that we all deserve.
Can we please actually print this and I will personally hand it out at St Pancras like the people with the Evening Standard!!!
Jonathon,
Thanks for your interest and appreciation.
I hope that our weekly issues help to make your commute just a little more bearable!
However, The Evening Stranded was never intended to be a printed or distributed publication.
Although it is available for public consumption, it would be preferable that it remains an online entity.
Please feel free to share the web address with anyone of a similar disposition!
Kind regards,
Eddy
